As one of the Children of Echoes, Kachina grew up surrounded by the wilderness of Natlan. Her knowledge of the land and special drill weapon/vehicle make her especially well-suited to traversing the rugged lands. Kachina and her accessory will likely change the way players move around the world.
The Geo Drill, affectionately dubbed by fans the “Drill Segway,” can be used as a weapon in battle, creating a speed-boosting field around the fierce fighter. But it’s the drill’s non-battle use that’s the most interesting: Kachina can use her drill as a mount, using it to travel around the world. This unique ability might be why developer HoYoverse decided to make her available for free to all users, to encourage players to make use of this new way to move around.
Kachina is one of three new characters who will be available at the launch ofGenshin ImpactVersion 5.0, on August 28.Joining Kachina in the new expansion are Mualani and Kinich, both 5-star characters. Players can get hold of Kachina on launch for free and make use of her unique drill mount to explore the lands of Natlan.
