As an engineer,players must continually expand their train as they travel deeper into the Void, using stronger components, tools, and weapons to gather materials for even more expansions. The formula will be familiar to anyone who’splayed something likeThe Forest, but what setsVoidtrainapart is its utterly unique setting.
The Void players will traverse is a constantly shifting wonder populated by an assortment of bizarre creatures and hulking monstrositiessitting just out of view. Many of these entities will be aggressive but the most dangerous part of The Void is the other travelers that can be encountered. More often than not, these humans are bloodthirsty in their own right so while the flying sharks may seem imposing, it’s the more familiar threats that truly represent a challenge.
Voidtrainhas achieved a great deal in its early access period, having added massive features like automation to various train components, character customization, and plenty of unique creatures and items.Developer HypeTrain Digital is currently working on even more content like new side-quests, additional train upgrades, and the third act to the game’s story.
