What This Means For G20
The Movie’s Poor Reviews Explained
Reviews forG20take issue with a number of aspects of the movie, with most seeming to agree that it is incredibly far-fetched, and not always in an entertaining way. The plot is said to feature an abundance of action movie tropes and cliches, meaning it can feel predictable at times. If there’s one bright spot that crops up in many reviews, though, it’s thatDavis delivers a commanding lead performance and is impressively convincing as a Presidential action hero, with Starr, as well, once again intimidating as a ruthless villain as viewers wait forThe Boysseason 5.
The Boysseason 5 doesn’t yet have a release date, but it is currently in production.

Though the critical response has not been favorable, it’s entirely possible that audiences will enjoyG20and its action-movie ridiculousness far more. If the movie can succeed with audiences,it certainly has the potential to become a viewership success on Prime Video. Without an audience-driven Popcornmeter score, it’s hard to say how the film is faring with general viewers, meaning a more full picture ofG20’s performance should become clear over the next few days.
