Lucaozy never should have got the Shanghai Major stickers in the first place.
Valve will replace the Perfect World Shanghai Major stickers of MIBR Lucas “Lucaozy” Neves with the player signature of MIBR benched player Breno “brnz4n” Poletto.
The CS2 community was caught by surprise on Wednesday, Nov. 27 when they saw Lucaozy got his Shanghai Major stickers despite being registered as a substitute. According to Valve’s own rules, only the team’s starters at the time of the roster submission get stickers.
Lucaozy was the only exception to this rule. The other three players that qualified for the Shanghai Major as substitutes — Tim “nawwk” Jonasson (Fnatic), Timofey “interz” Yakushin (Cloud9), and Sebastian “Tauson” Tauson (GamerLegion) — didn’t get stickers.
But, it turns out that Lucaozy only gotShanghai Major stickersbecause of a mistake.

Valve added Lucaozy stickers by mistake
In a statement sent toHLTV.orgthis Friday, Nov. 20, Perfect World admitted it made a mistake. The tournament organizer should have sent brnz4n’s signature to Valve, but by the looks of it, Perfect World submitted Lucaozy’s signature instead.
While Lucaozy’s signature is still available in CS2 at the moment of this writing, Valve will likely remove it before the Shanghai Major Opening Stage kicks off tonight.
The fans who already got a Lucaozy signature via a capsule or bought it on the Steam Market won’t keep them. Valve will likely replace them with brnz4n to avoid Lucaozy’s stickers skyrocketing in price and becoming a rare item.
This comes as huge news for brnz4n as he’ll immortalize his nickname in CS2. The 21-year-old never got stickers before unlike Lucaozy, who qualified for the BLAST Premier Paris Major with Fluxo in 2023.
Not only brnz4n will immortalize his nickname in CS2, but he’ll make great money too. Should the Shanghai Major sticker sales follow the pattern set by previous tournaments, the Brazilian will make between five and six figures.
With this change, brnz4n now joins the likes of Andreas “aNdu” Maasing, Aurélien “afro” Drapier, and Ilya “Perfecto” Zalutskiy. All four of them get Shanghai Major stickers despite not playing in the RMR.
