Santa Is Coming To Stardew

Bringing Gifts To All The Good Farmers

Santa Claus has always been a part ofStardew Valleysince its release in 2016, but only as a mere background decoration.Players have always been able to see Santa flying on the loading screen on the 24th, pointed out years ago by players like userdude_is_meltingon Reddit. While this hasn’t changed much since its release, Pelican Town sadly never made its way into Santa’s nice list.

While it was confusing that Santa could be seen but was never able to visit players,it was viewed as a nice Easter egg for the season, alongside the random UFO encounters. What made this absence even stranger is that players can evenencounter aliens inStardew Valleyhidden throughoutStardew Valley, but Santa was still nowhere to be seen. Thankfully,Stardew Valley’s 1.6 update finally fixed Santa’s absence, allowing good farmers to be visited by Saint Nick as long as they follow his classical requirements.

How To Get Presents From Santa

Seasonal Offerings With Worthwhile Rewards

If players want to get presents for Christmas, they’ll have to leave out either cookies or any milk product on any table in their house during the 24th. After leaving the items out overnight, players will discover that Santa managed to sneak down a hopefully unlit chimney to leave presents in the form of avaluable Mystery Boxwhere the treats once were. Players who want to get the most out of this opportunity will want to leave out both cookies and milk on two separate tables, as they can get a maximum of one Mystery Box for each.

Easily Missed Stardew Valley 1.6 Feature Lets You Plan Ahead For Feast Of The Winter Star

Of all of the changes made as part of the 1.6 update in Stardew Valley, this one is a helpful reminder for the Feast of the Winter Star.

Unfortunately, players won’t be able to fill their houses with cookies and milk to get as many rewards as possible, although it may provide more rewards inStardew Valley’s multiplayer. While only getting two guaranteed mystery boxes might not seem like much, this update was a fantastically flavorful addition that helped make winter even more memorable inStardew Valley.
