Vacations are a fun side activity inThe Sims 2, and they include meeting exciting locals. Three travel destinations are Three Lakes, Takemizu Village, and Twikkii Island. Each one allows meeting special NPCs, including Bigfoot, Ninjas, a Wise Old Man, and the Witch Doctor. Some are easier to find as they come to public lots randomly. The others have to be scouted out with maps, either while already on vacation or beforehand.

It is important to know the limitations and mechanics of vacations. First, the particular neighborhood has to be made on theNeighborhood Screenby selectingTS2: Bon Voyageon the upper left panel. Setting up a vacation requires an adult, so morechallenging households like the Newsonsare ineligible. Most importantly, transportation and lodging in foreign worlds are expensive, so you will need many simoleons before going out for several days or weeks.

How To Learn Ninja Teleportation

Only Speak To Them While In A Great Mood

They tend to show up randomly on public lots but often run around or teleport quickly. If your Sim catches one, the Ninja will present a riddle.Answering correctly typically depends on the current Needs; iffilled to 100% in most categories, you will be rewarded. Otherwise, ifyour Sim is too tired or cranky, the Ninja will chide them and leave.

Because the Ninja’s appearance is random, attempt to travel to as many community lots as possible. They tend to appear when first loading in rather than arriving several hours later in the day.

The Sims 1 & 2 Features You Forgot the Games Used to Have

Screen Rant reminisces about the early Sims games and some of the best features the franchise used to include.

Each of the NPCs has their quirks from getting to know them well inThe Sims 2. Bigfoot can be invited to move in if his relationship reaches the maximum of 100, though he isn’t a typical occult. The Wise Old Man at first says nothing but can teach tai chi to those who offer him tea. Finally, the Witch Doctor can grant voodoo dolls that can harm or mind control other Sims. But, using the voodoo doll on the Witch Doctor can cause him to retaliate.
