Based on the eponymous 2013romance bookby Lori Nelson Spielman, The Life List tells the story of a young man named Alex who must reexamine her life path while finishing a “Life List” she created when she was 13 – a task left for her by her deceased mother, Elizabeth. Luckily, she has the help of Brad, the executor of Elizabeth’s will.
Having seen the film, I can confirm that The Life List is emotional and heartfelt. The story combines agreat romantic comedy, a coming-of-age story centered on someone in her 30s, and a family drama in one Netflix movie. With Sofia Carson as the lead, the movie is bound to succeed. However, the other leads and supporting characters provide great performances that enhance the overall story.
