Getting a horse is a key component in any Zelda game, and this is no less the case inLegend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. You will not get a horse right away, but you may find one as you progress the story. There is also achance for you to get Zelda’s horse, but that will not be the horse you first find. Either way, getting a horse massively helps you travel across the map and will be a priority for most players.

Themap inLegend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdommight be smaller than its counterparts in the recentBreath of the Wildgames, but it is absolutelyenormous for the 2D game that it is. Compared to similar games, it is still a lot to traverse and cover, and that makes finding aneasier way to traverse it that much more important. One way players can do so is by getting a horse, but they will have to complete a specific side quest to do so.

How To Get Zelda’s Horse

Complete Another Side Quest

Youcannot get Zelda’s horse back until you have continued in the main questfor a little while. Complete theStill Missingquest, and then complete the Hyrule Castle Dungeon. This will repair another rift, giving you a new main quest. However, before progressing, you should go and talk to Impa. She will give you anew quest called Impa’s Gift, and you’re able to return to Hyrule Field.

Once you return to the Ranch, the white horse will be missing, andyou will have to track it down again. You will travel north, tracking a rift at the site of a carrot farm. Once you have arrived, repair the rift by finding all of Tri’s friends.

There arefour friends in totalfor you to track down. It is a reasonably typical rift; you should have plenty of echoes to help you solve it. The first friend is down a ladder on the first island. The second is on an island toward the back that you will likely have to spider-climb up. The third is on anisland with four giant bouldersyou must maneuver to uncover. The last is down a set of stairs on the island to the left of the starting island.

At this point, learn how tocreate a Carrot Echo, as you will then be able to call your horse wherever you are in Hyrule.

WithTri’s help, you can pull a carrot out of the groundand summon your horse back. Since this is your horse and not a borrowed one, you can now participate in Flag Races at Hyrule Ranch, which you can doeven after beating the game. This will give you some rewards, so be sure to try them out. It is part of the great fun of having a horse inLegend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom.
