The Gulfseason 3 is the long-awaited next installment of the New Zealand crime drama and fans have been patiently waiting for any news about the project. WhileNew Zealand may be best known for its fantasy movies and TV shows, the island country off the coast of Australia produces plenty of other genres. The Gulfis one of these series, a noir thriller that follows DSS Jess Savage (Kate Elliott), a detective who works on her home of Waiheke Island. In between cases, she also tries to solve the case of the mysterious death of her husband.

She’s joined by DS Justin Harding (Ido Drent), and a cast of officers and locals all with their own secrets. The titleThe Gulfrefers to the Hauraki Gulf which seperates Waiheke Island from the mainland, isolating Jess' home from the rest of the world. Since the season finale, there’s been little to no news about the show, which has some fans wondering ifThe Gulfseason 3 will ever arrive.
