Who Captured The Jackal In The Day Of The Jackal Episode 5?
The Mystery Man Who Holds The Jackal’s Fate In His Hands
While it’s a rather large coincidence that the Jackal was found by a mystery man while being hunted by MI6, the large and stout figure did not look like any of the agents that were assigned to capture him. Instead, it makes more sense that this man is simply someone who owns the land where the Jackal attempted to rest for the night. The Jackal was able to crawl into a barn, find a hay bale, and tuck his gun away beneath the haystack before taking a nap, so it’shighly likely this man is the owner of the barn, and dislikes trespassers on his land.
However, there is the possibility that this is another agent from a competing agency. Or, potentially an associate of a former victim, someone linked to the new employers who have engaged Jackal’s services, or even a rival of some sort who hopes to land the lucrative contract the Jackal is currently being employed for. For thebig reveal,The Day of the Jackalepisode 6 will be the most enlightening resource, but as it stands, it appears most likely that this is a simple farmer.
