Our Take On The Goats In Severance

What Is Their Purpose?

The presence of goats inSeveranceis likely related to Lumon’s secretive and sinister experiments on biological conditioning. The Mammalians Nurturable department could be raising the goats as test subjects to refine techniques for shaping severed individuals, possibly through genetic manipulation or psychological conditioning. The mention of “husbandry tanks” also suggests that Lumon might be experimenting with controlled environments, using the goats to perfect methods before applying them to severed humans. Hopefully, the mystery of the goats begins to unravel in theSeveranceseason 2 finale.
