This was a far cry from the events ofRick and Morty’s secret Thanksgiving special, a viral short about Poopybutthole’s love of his family. The 2017 short “The Poor in My Pants” was released onRick and Morty’sYouTubechannel in honor of Thanksgiving. It is a sweet silent short where Poopybuttholereminisces over family photos.

This latest misadventure is likely to end in disaster, but this doesn’t mean that Poopybutthole can’t eventually learn to change. Whether it is inRick and Mortyseason 8 or not, he can still find the happiness he once had again.
