As with previous installments,Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boywill a romantic comedy. Morris hasn’t directed aBridget Jonesfilm before, meaning audiences could be in for some changes from the previous three films, the first and third of which were directed by Sharon Maguire, and the second by Beeban Kidron. The return of both Grant and Thompson, however, is a promising sign that the new film will be a true sequel with a story that continues select storylines and dynamics from previous installments.
