How To Prepare For The New Pokémon TCGP Set

Finish Events And Don’t Spend Hourglasses For The Next Five Days

For players looking to prep for the newMythical Islandset, the easiest way is to simply hoard pack hourglasses.Players can obtain 4 Pack Hourglasses per day by completing 3 missions per day. They can also earn up to 24 Pack Hourglasses by competing in the newGenetic Apex SP Emblem eventthat runs through December 16. Other potential sources of Pack Hourglasses are through leveling up, finishing individual solo deck missions, or by purchasing pack hourglasses using shop tickets. Players can also choose to spend money to buy more pack hourglasses.

Hopefully, players will already have a decent number of Pack Hourglasses leading into the new set. If they don’t, they should also remember that they can focus their free packs per day onMythical Island.Given that there’s only around 80 cards (before alternate art cards),it shouldn’t take hundreds of packs to get most of the cards in the pack. Also, keep in mind thatMythical Islandis a mini-set and that in six or so weeks,Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocketwill be preparing to launch a new, larger set of cards into the game.
