Panchayatseason 4 is the next chapter in the Indian comedy-drama series and there has been some hopeful news this summer. Half Of Season 4 Has Been Written
In June 2024,Panchayat’s director, Deepak Kumar Mishra, revealed that season 4 was in production (viaPTINews),
“We have started writing season four. For us, generally, there’s no break between two seasons. The third season is over and we have written three to four episodes (of season four) of the show.”
Three to four episodes of the series is probably more than most fans would have guessed withPanchayatseason 3 ending only a month earlier. It’s a good sign for the series andsignals that Mishra and his team have a lot of ideas for the show.

“So far, we have thought about making seasons four and five. For season four, we have a clear idea, and there is a broader idea for season five.”

It’s unclear exactly who will return forPanchayatseason 4, but there are some obvious characters who should make it back to the series considering how season 3 ended. Jitendra Kumar as Abhishek Tripathi, the main character, should, of course, return to the series. Along with him, other main characters expected to return include Faisal Malik as Prahlad “Prahladcha” Pandey, Raghubir Yadav as Brij Bhushan Dubey, Neena Gupta as Manju Devi Dubey, Chandan Roy as Vikas Shukla, and Sanvikaa as Rinki.

No story details have been revealed forPanchayatseason 4just yet, but the end of season 3 leaves plenty of storylines hanging for the next season to pick up. For one, it’s still unclear who attacked Pradhan Ji. Abhishek is also still trying to pass his CAT exam, the results of which could dramatically change the show and force a difficult decision on Abhishek, whether to stay in Phulera or leave.
