Lost in Madness is an early-level side quest inOnce Human. It is a bit misleading, as the starting area is around level 7, but the hunt itself takes players into a dangerous level 32 zone. This means you will need to sneak around carefully or enlist the assistance of other players. If you want to make the quest even easier, consider waiting until you are level 30+ to complete it.
The crate’s location is nearly on the other side of the map. While it is possible to walk there, it is much faster to travel in a vehicle.Consider acquiring a motorcycle, which can either be built or gained instantly from a side quest. Whatever mode of transport you have, it isn’t invincible. Be sure it is maintained and prepared before exploring inOnce Human.

You can beginLost in Madnessby heading to the east portion ofDayton Landscalled Coastside Plaza. There will be a noticeable market with a sign identifying it asBNMart. Examine the lit candle in the far corner of the store to spawn a chest. Inside of it will contain the map to officially unlock the side quest in your journal forOnce Human.
YouTuberGhostArrowshows the full quest. It can be a quick direct journey, but this depends on your server status. Established servers may have opened up all zones to every player. However, some admins may instead block off access with giant red barriers. You may want to considerchanging yourOnce Humanworldjust to complete Lost in Madness.
The map itself isn’t very clear. Unless you have already explored much of the wasteland, the drawing will be too vague with no discernible landmarks. Instead, it is better to find the treasure via actual location names and waypoints.
Treasure Location
The treasure map leads to Chalk Peak, specifically a small settlement atX: 2259, Y: -4938. Head up to the second floor of the large cabin and the Cultist Treasure will be on the floor. Players have reported that thecontents are randomly generated, but expect to find Energy Links, Battle Pass EXP, and various crafting materials.
Since Chalk Peak is crawling with level 30 or above dangers, it is a good idea to approach quietly if you are still at the start ofOnce Human. If you want to fight directly, wait until you are of a higher caliber to combat such enemies. If you are of sufficient level, also consider searching for theMystical Crates around Dayton Wetlands. This will wield even better items and Energy Links.
