Warning! Contains spoilers for Titans #14!

Summary

It’s official:Nightwingknows — and encounters — the one villain more dangerous thanDarkseid. The Titans have gone up against some pretty powerful villains, and so have the Justice League. Usually, only one team is needed to take down a threat. When Darkseid shows up, the Justice League alone can usually bring him down, but now a villain has appeared that requires the power of every hero on Earth: the Dark-Winged Queen.

This terrifying new villain manifests completely inTitans#14 by Tom Taylor and Lucas Meyer. Nightwing realizes the terrifying apocalyptic scenario he’s up against asRaven transforms into the Dark-Winged Queen, and if that’s not horrifying enough, Trigon escapes from hell to join his daughter. As Nightwing himself says, these are two “extinction-level beings.”

Nightwing Calls In All Available Heroes Against Trigon And Raven

Raven is already an incredibly powerful threat, but with her father at her side, this event could quickly spiral out of control and spell the death of all humanity. When Nightwing sees their arrival, he knows the Titans won’t be enough — even the Justice League won’t be enough — which requires him to call in every possible hero available, which is a call to arms that not even Darkseid gets.

The Titans' Dark Destiny Confirms Raven Rivals Darkseid as a Major Villain

There are tons of evil and twisted forces in the DC Universe, and while Raven is usually a hero, she can also rival Darkseid as a major villain.

Evil Raven Could Destroy the World

Out of all the Titans, it’s no exaggeration to say that Raven is by far the most powerful. Not only does she have a whole host of dark powers and energy abilities, but she can wipe and control minds, teleport people, and even attack someone’s soul directly.Raven can even send someone to the Phantom Zone, which is a power no other DC character has showcased. All of these abilities are now in the hands of the evil Dark-Winged Queen, Raven’s evil other half, meaning that she should be able to destroy every hero that stands against her with just a flick of her hand.

The Dark-Winged Queen now commands the wrath of God and several more demonic abilities that she was lacking.

Raven’s powers have only gotten even greater, as she’s been absorbing powerful mystical beings around the DC Universe to create her dark crown, including her two demonic brothers andeven the Spectre himself. So, on top of Raven’s already incredible abilities, the Dark-Winged Queen now commands the wrath of God and several more demonic abilities that she was lacking. This version of Raven on her own is a Darkseid-level threat, but combined with her father, Trigon, this seems like a truly unwinnable fight. Even the combined might of every hero on Earth will struggle here.

Raven Is Way More Dangerous Than Darkseid

Raven’s Power Puts Her Above God-Level

This is an unwinnable fight for the heroes of the DC Universe. Even with the full power of the Titans and the Justice League, there’s simply nothing they can do against the combined might of Trigon and the Dark-Winged Queen. The only possible solution here is for one of the Titans, likely Beast Boy, to reach out to Raven and bring back her humanity. If that fails,Nightwingknows that Earth and every hero on it will fall to a threat that is far greater thanDarkseidever was, and surprisingly, the threat is an iconic Titansmember.
