Naruto’s Creator Just Confirmed He Wants to Make a New Manga, But What Will It Be About?

Naruto’s mangaka, Masashi Kishimoto, revealed his new-found interest in a new series in his latest interview.

Omnipotence Is Based On An Existing Concept In Naruto

Original series created by Masashi Kishimoto

Kishimoto revealed that Ikemoto was the one who came up with the brilliant Omnipotence reveal in chapter #78 that led to possibly the best moment in the series. This backs up his statement that the original script has been revised as this scene is big enough to change most of the planned story. Furthermore, Eida, the character possessing the Omnipotence shinjutsu, was created by Ikemoto, as are many designs in the series.

Although it was confirmed that Ikemoto came up with the Omnipotence scene, the idea was from a panel inNarutowhere Naruto and Sasuke were attacking each other in the 5 Kage Summit arc. The scene saw Naruto using Chidori and Sasuke using Rasengan, reversing their situation to drive home the fact that Naruto could have become like Sasuke if he didn’t have people like Iruka and Jiraiya who cared for him.Ikemoto used this concept and made it literal, switching the lives of Boruto and Kawaki and leading to Boruto’s ousting from the village.

Boruto Finally Revealed The Weakness Of Its Most Broken Power

While the power of Eida in Boruto has proven to be the definition of “broken”, recent revelations suggest she’s far from being unstoppable.

While Kishimoto was responsible for great moments such asBoruto and Kawaki fight at the beginning of the series, the conflict between Naruto and Boruto or the first arc where Momoshiki attacks, Ikemoto still deserves his flowers for his contribution to the story. Kishimoto places a high level of trust in his former assistant after more than a decade of working together, and fans can rest easy knowing thatBoruto: Two Blue Vortexis in great hands and with even more plot twists and developments.
