Boruto: Two Blue Vortexhas gradually given the lonely main characters more allies in his struggle to save the world, and this will soon include one surprising character that started out as a foe and has maintained an ambiguous stance since then. This could be a major game changer for Boruto and the series as a whole, as the power and influence this character possesses is huge, potentially tilting the odds in favor of the heroes.

In chapter #16 ofBoruto: Two Blue Vortex, Kashin Koji explained to Boruto how knowledge about the future makes a Singularity, someone who helps steer the world to a good timeline and avoidthe darkest possible futures. He also emphasized how this knowledge should be kept a secret, as knowing the future would make someone change their actions, leading to the timeline Kashin Koji saw being changed. One of these Singularities is Eida, the person responsible for Boruto and Kawaki’s lives swapping. While it doesn’t make sense for her to become an ally of the heroes considering what she has done, the series can make it work.

Eida Being Boruto’s Ally Would Be A Gamechanger

Boruto’s Burden Would Be Eased By A Lot

Eida was listening in on Kashin Koji and Boruto’s conversation about the futureusing her impressive Senringan. This means she knows everything Boruto was told by Kashin Koji, making her either the most dangerous person to Boruto or one of his closest allies. However, the way Kashin Koji describes who a Singularity is points to the idea that Eida will help them out. While she does possess antagonistic traits, Eida has already demonstrated empathy to Boruto and helped him out a few times in the past, so it wouldn’t be far-fetched for her to finally join his side.

AfterBoruto and Kawaki’s lives were swapped, Eida felt bad for Boruto and promised she wouldn’t reveal his and Sasuke’s location once they left, until he returned to Konoha. She honored her promise and this allowed Boruto and Sasuke to evade the shinobi hunting them down. Furthermore, in the same chapter, Eida didn’t tell Sarada about Boruto and where he was and what he was doing, proving that she listened to Kashin Koji’s advice about not disclosing the truth of the future.

Eida Has All The Qualities To Be A Hero

Despite Her Twisted Personality, She Is Still Kind At Heart

Eida’s ability is one of the series' most powerful and perfect for reconnaissance and intelligence-gathering, something Boruto and Kashin Koji desperately need after the God Trees decided to hunt them down. Furthermore, Eida being on their side also means that Daemon and Delta will join them too, given they’re loyal to Eida.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortexhas been gradually introducing the idea that Eida will one day forge an alliance with Boruto and help the world, and the latest chapter makes this possibility even more likely. While it does present great help for the heroes, it will also cause some interesting drama by havingEidaand Kawaki on opposing sides, given Kawaki’s goal of eventually killing Boruto.
