Warning: Spoilers for My Hero Academia’s Manga FinaleMy Hero Academia’s manga ended with Deku gaining a brand-new power suit, built and paid for by his former classmates to help him become a pro hero once again. Little is known of the suit’s abilities from the manga, but a new databook is offering fans a more complete breakdown of what Deku can do.
While Deku is working as a teacher at UA in the ending chapters, something that he finds very fulfilling, it’s clear that he misses the pro hero life somewhat. However, without One for All, there was no way for Deku to be a pro hero…until Deku received his power suit from All Might, funded and developed by his classmates, largely due to Bakugo. This suit is implied to be comparable to All Might’s Armored All Might outfit seen during the final fight, but exactly what it was capable of was left a mystery, even in the additional bonus epilogue chapter.

My Hero Academia’s Final Databook Sheds Light on Deku’s Suit
The New Suit Features Heavily on the Front Cover
The official My Hero Academia X (Formerly Twitter) accountshared an image of the cover of the final databook,Ultra Age, which features Deku in his new power suit on the front cover, flanked by images of many of his classmates. TheUltra Agebook goes on sale on July 26, 2025, and will include breakdowns of characters' powers and abilities the way previous databooks did, presumably including Deku in his new suit as well. This will be the first glimpse fans get at just what the power suit version of Deku may be capable of, so it could be quite exciting.
Even just looking at the highly detailed image on the cover, one can deduce some of the suit’s capabilities. It appears to have technology that imitates many of the Quirks formerly stored within One for All, such as a Blackwhip launcher, and it looks to be capable of executing his old favorite, the Air Force maneuver, using his fingers to launch blasts of air. Deku also appears to be armed with knives and possibly even some small cannons. While fans may have to wait for the book to be released to know all his abilities, it’s already apparent one wouldn’t want to be fighting Deku in this suit.

The Ultra Age Databook Has Many Other Features
The Databook Features Character Profiles, Power Evaluations, and More
TheUltra Agedatabook also offers several other exciting elements, such as a 5-page mini comic by Kohei Horikoshi. It will also feature character profiles and power evaluations for most characters spotlighted in the book. These should reflect events in the final arc of the story, giving fans their first detailed look at how powerful various characters were during the final battle. It may even offer a little insight into how characters have climbed the hero rankings in the epilogue. Long-time fans ofMy Hero Academiawill definitely want to pick up this databook once it hits shelves in English.
