A new leak suggests that five new heroes might be heading toMarvel Rivals, including a fan favorite, Professor X, Jia Jing, Locus, and more. Leaks are always to be taken with a grain of salt, but if these prove to be correct, that would mean 15 heroes have been discovered within the game files that could come to the title down the line.

Whilenone of this has been confirmed or denied yet, it would be interesting to see these specific heroes added to the roster, as everyone loves more options, especially when it comes to Strategist mains.

At the time of writing, there are 37 heroes in-game, which is a pretty hefty roster considering the title’s recent release. Only being out for a little over a month now, the title has already made its way into its first season, which broughttwo new heroesto learn and take on the opposition with. Susan Storm, also known as Invisible Woman, and Mister Fantastic were thrown onto the roster, Susan being a Strategist and Mister Fantastic being a Duelist. If these five heroes, or the previously leaked possible heroes, ever make it intoMarvel Rivals,the roster would be one of the most diverse and impressive rosters fans of hero-shooters may have ever seen.

A Reddit thread has discussed Mr Fantastic’s forgiving hitbox for his standard attack, which players have noted will be excellent for bad-aim players.
As always, every leak should be taken with a grain of salt, as there is no information out currently that states when or even if these characters will be introduced as heroes within the title. Everyone Loves Choices, And Marvel Rivals Already Has Plenty To Choose From
Even with 37 heroes to choose from, it would be nice to be able to switch it up even more during matches. As a Strategist main myself, I am always open to more options in that role, as while there are quite a few, it can feel a bit lacking sometimes. With Invisible Woman and Mister Fantastic being added, players were able to find a new main or even just enjoy a break from their usual grind as say, Cloak and Dagger or Mantis, to just learn something brand new.
While, of course, these are leaks, we know that two more heroes are coming to the title in the coming weeks, as the secondhalf of season onewill bring The Human Torch and The Thing.Marvel Rivalshas made huge waves since launch, not only reaching over 20 million players in less than a month, but breaking Steam concurrent player counts in the process, and I can’t wait to see what NetEase does next.
