Deadlinereports thatCBS Studios has extended its first-look deal with Padalecki. The deal, which means that Padalecki is involved with developing and producing a new series for CBS Studios, comes as the actor will guest star in three episodes ofFire Countryseason 3, with the potential for a spinoff built around his character.

His Character Will Have A Connection With Bode.

Padalecki will play Camden inFire Country, a SoCal firefighter and maverick. According to the official description, Camden has a “surfer swagger” and is a force to be reckoned with. It’s teased thathe immediately recognizes the raw talent of Bode, the lead character played by Max Thieriot. If the guest appearance goes well, Padalecki’s character could move on to his own spinoff, but that is in its early stages so far, with no writer attached.
