The deal, which means that Padalecki is involved with developing and producing a new series for CBS Studios, comes as the actor will guest star in three episodes ofFire Countryseason 3, with the potential for a spinoff built around his character.

If the guest appearance goes well, Padalecki’s character could move on to his own spinoff, but that is in its early stages so far, with no writer attached.
