Padalecki’s Character Has Unfinished Business

Padalecki’s point of tension with Bode becomes clear inFire Countryseason 3, episode 7, when he accidentally calls Bode by the name of his dead brother.Camden’s brother Patrick, only a few years younger, died in a fire a decade ago. That parting line does set the stage for the Padalecki-led spinoff, which was first floated when it was reported earlier this year that CBS Studios has extended its first-look deal with Padalecki. The deal means that Padalecki is involved with developing and producing new series for CBS Studios, which may include a Camden spinoff. But so far, that project has yet to be announced.

The actor has built up a familiarity with audiences thanks to a variety of roles, and he quickly built up chemistry with the likes of Thieriot and Farr that added to the energy and urgency of the CBS drama.
