He was also clearly a beloved coworker and friend. Robert King, the co-creator ofEvil, shared onX,

“Tim Guinness died 2 days ago. He was one of the Directors of Photography on Good Wife and Good Fight for more than a decade. He dedicated his life to making the show, and especially the actors on the show look great. The cast and crew loved him. It’s painful to think of him gone.”

As the creator ofThe Good FightandThe Good Wife, King had a chance to get to know Guinness and work with him frequently. Rosemary Rodriguez, a director who worked onThe Good Wife, wrote on Guinness' memorial wall,

“Tim was one of my favorite collaborators on The Good Wife. He knew exactly what I wanted for every scene I directed. I’d do DGA theatre with him reading lines and blocking the scene with me and Colin….he hated it, not the planning part, but reading the actors lines for me. Used to crack me up. I loved Tim with all my heart. I’ll miss him forever.”
