The New Bloom Festival is just one of the many events currently underway inInfinity Nikki’s Firework Season, and with so much going on, it’s tricky to keep everything straight. The best way to keep each event organized is to do them one at a time, and each event’s contents can be checked in its respective Events-tab subcategory.Under the New Bloom Festival subcategory in the Events menu, you’ll see many things to do to get into the New Bloom spirit.

All New Bloom Festival Event Stages
With The Echoes of The Past Main Quest And Tons Of Mini-Quests, There’s A Lot To Do
The main questline for the New Bloom Festival event inInfinity NikkiisEchoes of the Past.Nikki and Momo must find renowned Linlang Empire music master Du Yubai, who has gone missing before her big performance.To begin the quest, head to the ship in Florawish’s harbor and talk to Xian.You’ll probably also pick up limited-time Random quests on your way, and while these provide the typical rewards, it’s best to do the main event quest first.

The Infinity Nikki 1.2 livestream revealed the upcoming 1.2 content patch, “Firework Season,” and with it, gave viewers a new redeem code.
Echoes Of The Past - Listening To Echoes Of The Past
The “Listening to the Echoes of the Past"questline will take you all around the Wishfield as you investigate the life of a Wishfield scholar that Du Yubai wants to honor in tribute to one of her ancestors, whom the scholar saved in his youth. The scholar, named Mark, wanted to see Du Yubai’s ancestor again, but neither could meet the other again before his passing.Follow a trail of clues and information around the Wishfield to help Du Yubai properly finish her ancestor’s story.
Alongside the main questline for the New Bloom Festival, there are also smaller tasks that Nikki can complete for rewards. Like in Shooting Star Season, these mini-quests are quick and easy but provide insight into the importance of the New Bloom Festival. These tasks range from taking snapshots of New Bloom Festival-exclusive views to testing your wits against some tricky tangram puzzles, and they all give pretty nice rewards.
New Bloom Reunion
The New Bloom Reunion has two types of smaller quests to complete: the New Bloom Chronicles and Fun Encounters. The New Bloom Chronicles are three quests that unlock after finishing certain quests.The first two unlock after “Truth is Close"has been completed, while the final one unlocks after the “Listening to the Echoes of the Past” quest is done.
While you’re logged in to play New Bloom Festival events, make sure to check out the Heartfelt Gifts store to grabthree free outfitsfor the season.
Fun Encounters also has three quests, each one unlocking after a different quest. The first, “Observation: White Jade,” unlocks after “Truth is Close,“the second, “Kindled Inspiration: New Bloom’s Outfit,” unlocks after “Sailing Through Lens,” and the third, “Wish of Lanterns,” unlocks after “Lost Cargo.“These three mini-quests all reward 30 Diamonds each, along with some Threads, Bling, Shiny Bubbles, and Shining Particles.
New Bloom Snapshot
Alongside the main New Bloom Festival main quest, you’ll be tasked with taking a few snapshots of your time with the Linlang Delegates.Six of these photos are part of the main quest, while the final four are part of a limited-time world quest.To begin this limited-time world quest, talk to Ginona at the ship docked south of Florawish, where you’ll watch Du Yubai’s performance.
Upgrade your camerato take more unique photos.
Gina will tell you how excited she is that the delegation from the Linlang Empire is here and is looking for inspiration for the magazine issue she’s working on. She will ask for a few photos you can take nearby, and then a Linlang citizen will also mention wanting one.This covers the last four photos for the New Bloom Snapshot portion of the event and will allow you to collect all your rewards.
Whim Tangram
On the boat in the harbor, you’ll find a limited-time minigame called Whim Tangram. This shape-based puzzle minigame will test your spatial reasoning and puzzle-solving skills with four individual puzzles to solve.These are time-gated,and only three puzzles are released at the time of writing, but the fourth should be forthcoming.
Infinity Nikki Makes Me Appreciate Its Gacha Approach
Gacha game can be hit or miss, especially when they try to get you to spend real money, but Infinity Nikki’s approach to gacha systems is refreshing.
The Whim Tangram puzzles offer a different challenge from the other minigames, likeMarble King inInfinity Nikki, found around the Wishfield. Instead of relying on any sort of reflex or skill, Whim Tangram puzzles challenge the mind.They’re tricky enough to be a satisfying challenge but not so hard that they’re unsolvable.
Strings Of Time
Strings of Time is a series of time-gated objectives similar to theWishfield Travel Journalthat encourages you to explore everything the New Bloom Festival offers.Some of these objectives will be completed automatically as you complete the other quests from the event, while others will take a bit of legwork.Either way, they offer excellent rewards, so they’re worth the time.

Alongside these material rewards,you’ll receive the four-star Endless Longing outfit with the Pipa ability. This outfit allows you to play the pipa like you would the violin, making music with a traditional Linlang instrument. For players planning on spending money for this event, you’re able to get a costume for Momo that allows him to duet with you while you play, making the outfit even better.
While this event alone doesn’t give enough Diamonds to pull on either of the limited-time banners, the Carnival of Fireworks, New Horizons Day, and Current Adventures events will help close that gap. There’s a lot to do, thanks to the sheer load of content introduced with the 1.2 patch ofInfinity Nikki, and once you’re done with New Bloom Festival events, there will still be more to do.
