Survival inOnce Humanrequires players to strategize to provide themselves with food, hydration, lodging, and gear. One of the unique features in this world areDeviations, little helpers that provide assistance to Meta-humans by lending a hand around their territory, providing unique materials for crafted items, and even aiding them in combat.

TheRain ManDeviationis highly sought after by those wanting to have a bountiful farm. Specifically, hewaters crops to their specified hydration requirementswhile he’s out and about. Spawn Locations And Where To Farm Them

Rainfall Reaperscan be found in several locations across Nalcott, the continent inOnce Human. However, these Elite enemies are more rare than other Deviants, and quite a bit harder to fight.Make sure you are properly gearedfor the area you are in, or else you may have trouble fighting them.

The Rainfall Reaper will frequently be nearly invisible as you approach, withjust her umbrellaspawning in once you are close. When she spots you, you’ll see her umbrella “dance” around before resting in the center again, when her body appears. She does not take damage during her “dance,“so wait for the umbrella to stop wiggling before shooting. A few well-placed “umbrella (head) shots” should do the trick, and she will drop the loot once defeated.

They are shaped like floating female clothing wrapped around an invisible, roughly humanoid form. They have an umbrella dripping with sticky black slime in place of a head, with the umbrella handle going into the neckline of the clothing. Explosive Stardust gathers under the umbrella, which can spread quickly through the humid air. Rainfall Reapers have very low density and posse

When she begins to fight back, she will enter a phase where she goes invisible, summons other deviants, and throws umbrellas at you. Even if you track her location, she is fully immune while invisible.Defeat the other deviants and wait for her umbrella attack to end, then resume attacking her once she becomes visible again.

Harborside Rainfall Reaper

The first Rainfall Reaper can be found in theHarborsidesettlement in Broken Delta. She is waiting down on the docks at coordinates (5947, -7142), next to a partially beached ship and several other deviants. This Rainfall Reaper is fairly low-leveled and should be the easiest one to farm early in the game.

To reach her, teleport to the Meyer’s Marketstrongholdand follow the road to the Southwest. you’re able to also take the Southeast road past the train tracks, and swim across the canal to the other side.

Sutherland Chemical Plant Rainfall Reaper

TheSoutherland Chemical PlantRainfall Reaper is also in the Broken Delta, just north of Meyer’s Market. The Deviants here are only a few levels higher than those at Harborside, so you should have no issue defeating the Rainfall Reaper in this area.

She can be found at (4924, -6188)on top of a large platform near a gear crate. The easiest way to reach her is byusing the stairs just southeast of the platform, which will lead directly to the top floor. ASpring LegsWhim Potion orStardust Energy Drinkcould help you parkour your way up, instead.

In the early game, traveling between the Harborside and Southerland Chemical Plant settlements is theeasiest way to farm for theRain ManDeviation. The low-level enemies and their proximity to Meyer’s Market make it a fast farming route to teleport to and drive between.

Chalk Peak Rainfall Reaper

Unlike the other two Rainfall Reapers, this Chalk Peak lady is not in a settlement. Instead, she can be found at (1231, -3808)in an unnamed hamlet just to the southwest of the Evergreen Vinyard settlement. Be careful, as this area is meant for level 30 and higher, and the Deviants are much stronger.

While this Rainfall Reaper is at a higher level than the others, she is the fastest one to farm for Rain Man.Using the Teleportation Tower just to the South of the hamlet, you canride your motorcycledown the mountain, defeat her, and return to the tower inapproximately one minute.Once you return to the tower, hit G to swap worlds, and choose the next world in the list.

Each “World” is adifferent instanceof your server, with different players, territories, and spawned monsters. Because of this,world-hoppingiscurrently the fastest way to reroll for Deviations. Once you defeat a Rainfall Reaper on one world, there will be another ready on the next, provided another player has not defeated them recently. Rainfall Reapers respawn in roughly 10-15 minute windows.

Using the Rain Man Deviation

How To Activate The Rain, Man

Like other Deviations, Rain Man needs to be placed in anIsolated Securement Unitto become active. Since he is a Territory Deviation, you do not need to sync your cradle to it like you would a Combat Deviation. Rain Man prefers Low Temperature environments and Blue Light, and providing both will help his Deviant Power and Mood recover faster.

While active, Rain Man will wander around your territory, looking for crops to water, and boosting the vitality of your crops. Not only this, but he will also ensure thateach crop has the proper amount of irrigation. This reduces the need for manual watering or using resources to configure automatic sprinklers for your garden.

If needed, consideradjusting the Deviant Power threshold. The default threshold is 30. However, this can result in Deviations returning to their securement units to rest too frequently. You can raise this to 70 or more percentif you find Rain Man is tiring out before finishing his watering.

InOnce Human, Deviations can drastically change how you play the game, especially with Deviations like Rain Man that help out around your territory. To optimize gardening, you should keep an eye out fortheBuzzy BeeandGrowshroomDeviationsas well, both of which provide automated boosts to your growing endeavors. Buzzy Bees can be found around farms, and Growshrooms can be randomly found while harvestingMushroom. Happy farming!
