Water could once be found in random loot throughout the game. However, since therelease of Alpha 21, finding safe water in loot is a thing of the past. Finding water in loot is still possible,but it’ll be Murky Water that needs to be boiled first. Murky Water can also be collected using dew collectors and found in toilets.
Obtaining the Water Purifier Mod Schematic unlocks a water purifier mod. The mod allows players to carry a stack of 125 Murky Water and consume it without dysentery.
