Beginning today with the first in what will be a series of new games, Hasbro is bringing adaptations of three beloved board games intoFortnite.Clue & Cluedo, Guess Who, and Connect Fourwill each inspire new game modes within the modern gameplay ofFortnitefor a unique twist. Bringing these well-known board games into the digital realm ofFortnitevia Islands built in the Unreal Editor will be a unique opportunity for players to experience nostalgia in a novel way.Guess Whois expected to release later this October, withConnect Fourslated for a December release.

On June 06, 2025,Murder Mystery: CLUEhas arrived for a uniquely re-imaginedFortniteexperience. The mode bringsCLUEthemes in with a murder-mystery style game mode which has round-based, timed gameplay. Players will vote on which map to use and then will besecretly assigned the roles of Killer, Detective, or Guest, each having goals and requirements in order to win.
Each game will offer a new experience based on the map, player roles, and choices each player makes. This provides high replayability to the format and offers plenty of ways to bringClue-related themes into the environment.

FollowingClue’s debut,Fortnite: GUESS WHOwill be coming to the game later in October with its own rules and creativity for players to explore. Finally, the reimaginedFortnite:CONNECT FOURis expected to be added sometime in December.

As someone who not only grew up with these classic Hasbro board games but still plays them often, I am excited to see how the concepts are brought into the digital format ofFortnite.With the versatility thatFortnitehas proven time and again, it does not come as much of a surpriseto think of these classic games being playable in the Epic Games world thanks to North World and Hasbro. Hopefully, if these modes prove popular enough, other board games may also be adapted in the future.
