This Gravity Lamp by a Virginia Tech pupil won 2nd place at the Greener Gadgets Design Competition this calendar week . The idea is quite simple in theory : a people moves lento down a column , which generate electricity by when the voltage to kinetic vitality conversion of the mass falling spins a rotor .
