A new leak has detailed a set of characters who may appear inGenshin Impact5.6, and based on who these characters are and what they mean to Teyvat’s lore, their appearances could forever change the game’s story.The action RPG by HoYoverse is currently in Version 5.5, a big patch that is expanding the region of Natlan with a brand-new volcanic area, as well as the playable characters Iansan and Varesa. Now, new leaks have emerged, hinting at important character appearances. According to information provided by the leaker known as Dim, some important NPCs may be voiced during the upcoming Archon Quests in Version 5.6. The leak, which was shared in a post onReddit, highlightsAlice, Barbeloth, Durin, Dahlia, and Varka as the characters who will be voiced during the upcoming missions. Apart from Alice, who has been voiced in the past, these characters have never been heard in the game, only mentioned by name. Alice is Klee’s mother and the founder of theHexenzirkel inGenshin Impact.

Barbeloth is Mona’s teacher and also a member of the Hexenzirkel. Durin, on the other hand, is the tyrant dragon who invaded Mondstadt and was slain by Dvalin – his body fell over the mountain that was then called Dragonspine. Dahlia is a member of the Church of Favonius and expected to become playable, while Varka is the Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius.All of these characters have extreme importance to the lore and their rumored appearances inGenshin Impact5.6 likely represent huge lore bombs, though it’s still impossible to speculate what will be revealed.

As such, it’s quite possible that the rumored appearances of some of the aforementioned characters will be limited to voice-overs.It’s possible that Alice will continue to be as elusive as ever, not revealing herself, much like her Hexenzirkel companion Barbeloth. It’s also likely that Durin is limited to voice-over since the dragon has already been defeated – and he could likely only really appear in a flashback inGenshin Impact.
