As is often the case with these themed seasons, each hero comes to the island equipped with powers and abilities that mirror those from the source material.

TheFortnitesite confirmed that the full stream from D23 is streaming on a loop within the game until the new season’s launch and those who visit the island for 10 minutes will be granted the Peelverine Plush Back Bling plus XP when the new season begins - although the Peelverine Plush may be purchasable at a later date.
This stream and the trailer description confirmed that8 skins can be unlocked and claimed throughout theFortniteChapter 5: Season 4 Battle Pass, and as is the case with the previous Battle Passes, these can be claimed by leveling up through challenges that offer XP or through buying levels to progress quicker. Each level grants a number of Battle Stars along the way, which can be used to unlock each Battle Pass reward. XP can be earned throughFortnite Battle Royale, creator-made islands,LEGO Fortnite,Rocket Racing, andFortnite Festival.

Previously, rewards from a Battle Pass could only be earned in that season and would not be available in later seasons. However, Epic Games has announced plans to make some items available on theFortniteshop 18 months after that pass expires.

As with many pastFortniteBattle Passes, the one forChapter 5: Season 4 will cost 950 V-Bucks, which is worth about $9.99. To purchase this, players will need to head to the Battle Pass tab inFortnitewhen the season begins and click on the “Get the Pass"button.
Players will be able to earn up to1,500 V-Bucksby progressing through the Chapter 5: Season 4 pass, which can be used to purchase other future passes. Players can also stack their V-Bucks from external retailers to help purchase Battle Passes.
FortniteChapter 5: Season 4 islaunching on July 19, 2025, after four planned hours of downtime on August 15, although it should be noted that this downtime has overrun in the past.
