I don’t actually know much about what is happening. I don’t quite know exactly what the season is going to look like, but I do know that the time jump is happening and I know it’s important because there’s only so much high school drama you can deal with — “and then she cheats on her boyfriendagain!” To me, at least, it is [exciting], and it will be fascinating to see and understand these characters outside of the context of high school and how all the stuff that we saw when they were kids and they were in high school affects the kind of adulthood they have and who they become in a much bigger world. Unlike a lot of teen dramas, the high school setting was never vital to the HBO series and barely even registered as an afterthought in terms. Zendaya, who won two Emmys for her performance as Rue, is right to point out the possibility and potential of allowingthe coreEuphoriacharactersto grow. There is also a meta element at play, with the cast expected to return to their roles after becoming bigger and more recognizable movie stars in the making.

The Jury Is Out (For Good Reason)
It’s fun to think of the ways thatEuphoriaseason 3 might evolve with its cast. It would even be better to move beyond the semiregular reports of the disagreements and tension on the HBO series, includingcreative differences between Levinson and Zendaya. But there is nothing known about the season. It’s possible that, when the show returns, anywhere from 2025 to 2026, it will be far too long and the show may not have the hold it once did.
