Sweetpea, the comedic thrillerstarring Ella Purnell, has been renewed for season 2. Described as a “coming-of-rage” story, and debuted back in October, the seriescenters on Rhiannon Lewis (Purnell). Though she’s seemingly normal, there is more to Rhiannon than meets the eye. The show is created by Kristie Swain, who also executive produces, and is based on the novel by CJ Skuse.
Now,The Hollywood Reporterhas confirmedthatSweetpeawill return for season 2. The thriller, produced by Sky Studios and See-Saw Films, airs on Sky Atlantic in the United Kingdom and Starz in the U.S., receiveda general story tease for the upcoming season. It’s included below:
