Dwayne Johnson’s $428M Kaiju Movie Came Very Close To Fixing A Disappoint Trend That Started 19 Years Ago

Rampage is Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s most famous live-action video game movie, but it isn’t the only one, with Rampage continuing a career trend.

After disappointments likeBlack Adam(2022) and, most recently,Red One(2024),Rampagefeels like a Johnson movie from a different era, but there’s definitely some fun to be had if one is looking for an easy watch. Though it suffers from some of the same problems that many of Johnson’s recent movies suffer from, including arguably a weak script and a lack of originality, it’s one that may be worth checking out when it lands on Prime Video.
