Warning: Contains spoilers for Dragon Ball Daima episode #19.Dragon Ball Daimaepisode #19 has revealed the true look of Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta, and it shows why it’s his best form, to date. One of the biggest reveals inDaimawas the reveal that Vegeta could use Super Saiyan 3, and while it’s unclear why he never used it inDragon Ball Super, the thrill of actually getting to see it made it a non-issue for most people.
Super Saiyan 3 Vegetais one of the best additions toDragon Ball Daima, and episode #19 just made it even bigger. As predicted, Glorio’s wish on the Demon Realm Dragon Balls wasn’t to make Arinsu all-powerful, but to turn Goku and his friends back into adults, and thanks to that,Dragon Ball Daimaepisode #19 has finally revealed the true appearance of Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta in Vegeta’s adult body. Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta continues to live up to its hype, and there are few better reasons to be excited aboutDragon Ball Daima’s climax.

Dragon Ball Daima Proves Why Vegeta Always Deserved Super Saiyan 3
Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta Is A Long Time Coming
Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta looked somewhat silly on Vegeta’s child body, even ifSuper Saiyan 3 Vegeta’s designwas a reference to a rough draft of what the original Super Saiyan 3 could have looked like, but when translated onto Vegeta’s adult body, every weird quirk of Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta’s design is perfectly translated into Vegeta’s adult form to be incredibly sharp while still maintaining some of its inherent goofiness. It’s much better than if Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta just looked the same as Super Saiyan 3 Goku, andDaimais all the better for it.
What best sells Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta, of course, is its display of power. Naturally, Vegeta fought against Gomah in his adult Super Saiyan 3 form, and while Vegeta was one of many characters to struggle against Gomah before,as an adult, Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta fought on equal footing with Gomah in a sequence that was further bolstered by even more gorgeous animation, including an absolutely stunning use of Vegeta’s Final Flash. It all came together for an even better showing than the original, and overall, it was well worth the wait.

Dragon Ball Daima Still Needs To Give Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta A Better Showing
Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta Still Hasn’t Reached His Full Potential
As great as Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta has been to see, it hasn’t been without its problems. The initial showing of Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta was brought down by how low-scale the fight with Tamagami Number Two generally was, and Vegeta ultimately failed to beat Gomah and eventually had to retire. Vegeta’s loss is justified by the power of the Third Eye and Super Saiyan 3’s severe stamina drain, but still,Dragon Ball Daimahas yet to fully capitalize on the long-awaited debut of Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta by never giving him a chance to properly show off.
Better capitalizing on Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta, of course, is easy enough to accomplish. DespiteDragon Ball Super’s indefinite hiatus, the
Dragon Ballfranchise is bound to continue in some way, shape, or form afterDaima’s finale, soSuper Saiyan 3 Vegeta needs to be displayed prominently in whatever the nextDragon Ballstory is so it can finally get the great showing it deserves. It’s unknown what a story like that would be, but hopefully, it will perfectly capitalize on everythingDragon Ball Daima’s done to already make Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta so iconic.
