Dragon Ball Daimadebuted in Japanese and with subtitles on June 28, 2025. The first three episodes of the English dub were given a special theatrical release from July 22, 2025 to August 21, 2025, but remained unavailable on streaming for weeks afterward. It was announced on Jun 05, 2025, that theEnglish dub would become available to stream on Crunchyroll on July 23, 2025, but there weren’t any further details as to exactly when it would arrive until recently. Now, fans have an exact date and time to tune in each week for the dub ofDaima.

Dragon Ball Daima’s English Dub Begins January 10

Daima Will Debut in the Afternoon Each Friday

According to Crunchyroll,fans can catch the English dub ofDragon Ball Daimaat 1:30 PM Pacific Time (4:30 Eastern Time), provided they live in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa. Much of the usualDragon BallEnglish dub cast will be reprising their roles, at least for the adult forms of the characters.Stephanie Nadolny will additionally be reprising her role as Kid Goku, once the curse is in effect and everyone has been de-aged into children again. New characters toDaimawill include Glorio, voiced by Aaron Dismuke, Gomah, voiced by Tom Laflin, and Neva, voiced by Garrett Schenk.

New episodes will presumably continue to be released on Fridays at this time each week. The Japanese release is currently on episode 13, meaning that it has a very substantial head start on the dub, and as is often the case, dub viewers will need to be cautious to avoid spoilers for the series, which have already proliferated around fandom spaces across the internet. Still, it’s a substantial improvement over the dub situation withDragon Ball Super, where the English dub was over a year behind the Japanese release.

So far,Dragon Ball Daimahas been a thrilling series to watch, particularly for long-time fans, as it explores a corner of theDragon Balluniverse that has rarely been seen: the Demon Realm. An area independent of the multiverse established inDragon Ball Super, the Demon Realm is a very unique setting that has been great fun to discover. Overall, the series has a strong adventure vibe to it, making it much more like the originalDragon Ballthan it is likeSuperorZ.

Dragon Ball Daima’s story has had plenty of twists and turns to it, and even some surprising reveals, for both new characters and old favorites. It’s absolutely worth a watch for anyDragon Ballfan, but especially those with a fondness for the original series. Dub viewers ofDragon Ball Daimaare certainly in for a treat!
