Summary
The upcoming wizard sports game,Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, is based on the franchise’s fantastical wizarding world, and players can compete in a quidditch match with their own unique avatar or as a legacy character like Harry Potter, Draco Malfoy, or Ron Weasley. Players can choose to play as a Chaser, Keeper, Beater, or Seeker on maps like the Burrow, the Quidditch World Cup, or the Hogwarts arena. With an emphasis on character customization,Quidditch Championsfeels ripe for live-service monetization.
Quidditch Championsitself is a bit of an oddity, filling the gap left byQuidditch’s cancelation inHogwarts Legacy, but adapting the magical sport into a three-versus-three competition. The fictional sport is typically played by teams of seven, but inQuidditch Champions, players will seemingly be in charge of two competitors at the same time, with the one not actively being controlled getting taken over by the game’s bots. Regardless, as players progress in the game, a wealth of cosmetic options will become available for customizing their unique avatar.
