Wraith is one of the simplest characters inDeadlock, and many players underestimate the full potential of the hero’s best build. Deft with firearms, she can deal damage quickly and consistently, with the ability to teleport and manipulate enemy locations. To stay on top of other players, you must focus on the proper leveling and itemization for each game phase.
While her skills aren’t quite as flashy asPocket’s kit inDeadlock, Wraith comes equipped with similar versatility. Naturally, the card-wielder can hide a few tricks up her sleeve in the heat of combat despite her uncomplicated abilities, and it may just be this simplicity that makes Wraith a force to be reckoned with in the right hands. With mastery over her four skills and help from the right items, you’re able to easily solo-carry.

Best Ability Path & Leveling For Wraith
Likeall heroes inDeadlock, Wraith has access to four distinct abilities:Card Trick, Project Mind, Full Auto, and Telekinesis. Compared to characters with more complex skills, Wraith may seem relatively simple on the surface. Still, her max potential is far from cut-and-dried, with priority placed on leveling and itemization. Here’s a closer look at each of her abilities and the bonuses you can get at 1 AP, 2 AP, and 5 AP:
DESCRIPTION & LEVELING
Card Trick
Deal weapon damage to summon cards. Activate to throw a card that flies toward the enemy or point under your crosshair.
Full Auto
Temporarily boosts your fire rate. Nearby allies receive half the fire rate bonus.
Telekinesis
Lift an enemy hero into the air, stunning them briefly. When the lift ends, the target receives Telekineses damage.
With this in mind, Wraith’s ideal unlock path is as follows:

With all four abilities at your disposal, shift your focus to upgrades. Start off with 1 AP to Card Trick, then go straight into Full Auto upgrades. You don’t need to max this ability immediately, but you’ll want to secure at least the first two bonuses for decreased Cooldown and more Spirit Damage per bullet. From there, follow the same pattern with Telekinesis and work on maxing the remaining upgrades on Card Trick, then Project Mind to finish.
