Daredevilhas some of the mostderanged villains in the Marvel Universe, but one relatively new foe, Muse, left a major impression on fans, and as a result, continues to be a source of inspiration for cosplay artists to this day. As one of Daredevil’s shortest-lived but most terrifying villains, it is a thrill to witness Muse being brought to life by ambitious cosplayers.

This amazing muse cosplay was put together by the talented Ernie Ciscernos (@s_e_n_t_i_n_e_l), who showed off the jaw-dropping cosplay on Instagram. This cosplay perfectly captures the creepiness of Muse, with the black/red eyes on his mask and the creepy bloody tears that leak down to the bloody smear along his chest.

Despite Muse having a fairly simple outfit, the menacing aura he gives off isn’t as easy to capture, and this cosplayer manages that perfectly. Muse was one ofDaredevil’s most interesting new villains; it’s great that cosplayers are keeping him alive, long after he died in the comics.

Muse was a perfect mix of the bizarre and terrifying that made him a wonderful villain to the Man Without Fear, as Ernie Ciscernos' cosplay makes clear.

Muse is one of the more mysterious villains that Daredevilhas had in recent years, first appearing inDaredevil#11 by Charles Soule and Ron Garney. Muse was a serial killer who was obsessed with creating art, and he did this in grotesque and disturbing ways. One of his first works of art was a painting that used the mixed blood of over one hundred different missing people. He was also shockingly quick and powerful, able to easily use his index fingers to blind the hero Blindspot by piercing through his eyes.

Despite the major impression Muse left on readers, he hasn’t been seen sinceDaredevil#600; after failing to bait Blindspot into killing him for revenge for taking his sight, Muse walked into a burning building and ended his own life. He hasn’t appeared since, which is unfortunate considering what a cool villain he was.Daredevil has a ton of goofy villains, such as Stilt-Man and The Owl, and his more serious villains are a bit more down-to-earth, such as Kingpin and Bullseye.
