At some point during the chapter, they both meet, with Deku’s journey coming full circle and encouraging the student in his dreams.

Given that Dai was the focus of most of the chapter, it is likely that his story will be continued in this 38-page special. The final chapter of the manga already established Dai as a possible successor to Deku,hinting at him becoming the protagonist in a hypothetical sequel. By focusing on his time before becoming a student, the epilogue can set the new manga to begin right as Dai begins his studies at U.A. High, possibly even as Izuku’s pupil.

The world is at peace and Deku’s friends helped him pursue his dream once again. The story could perfectly end there, with the epilogue simply giving fans a last chance to say goodbye to their favorite characters.
