In the past, Claire frequently refused to walk away from someone—friend or enemy—who was injured or ill. Master Raymond’s words to Claire about her “blue aura” revealed that his went beyond a simple desire.Something about Claire’s DNA made her a healer, and she didn’t technically need tools to do it.

Claire is a long way off from mastering her powers in theOutlanderTV show. Master Raymond told her that she had the same ability as him to heal back in season 2, butshe has continued to depend on her practical knowledge and ability instead. Despite being a woman from the future, Claire is inclined to depend on science and logic, and is generally skeptical of the existence of the supernatural. However, there was another character inOutlanderwho recognized Claire’s magical ability, and she provided a significant hint regarding whenOutlander’s protagonist would embrace her abilities.

However, the TV show is being wrapped up before Gabaldon will have a chance to publish the final book in her series.Outlanderseason 8 will be largely based on the ninth out of the total 10-planned books,Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone, but the showrunners have had no choice but to make changes to wrap the story up early. Regardless,we can assume that Claire will do some magical healing in the coming episodes.
