Bethesda does recommend that players start the DLC when they are at least Level 35.
According toBethesda,players can start theShattered SpaceDLC at any pointafter completing the main quest’s introductory mission, “One Small Step.“Once this mission is completed, and they use their ship to grav-jump to any location that is not currently part of a mission or encounter, they will receive a distress call that allows them to discover the giant star station known as The Oracle. This willstart theShattered SpaceDLC expansion, providing players with brand-new locations and stories to uncover.
