The worlds ofBob’s BurgersandLate Night With the Devilcollide in perfectly creepy new horror art. First airing in 2011,Bob’s Burgerswas created by Loren Bouchard and Jim Dauterive with a story that follows that misadventures of burger shop owner Bob Belcher and his family. The animated sitcom couldn’t be more different fromLate Night with the Devil, a 2023 horror film from directors Cameron and Colin Cairnes that stars David Dastmalchian as a late night talk show host whose 1977 broadcast goes completely off the rails due to a demonic entity.
A new piece of crossover art fromBurnzynow puts lead characters fromBob’s Burgersinto the twisted world ofLate Night with the Devil, including fun touches from both properties.The art imagines that the crossover would be called “Late Burgers with the Devil,“and it features Bob himself in Dastmalchian’s role of Jack Delroy.
Gene and Linda Belcher also appear in the art, the former as Delroy’s sidekick, Gus (Rhys Auteri), and the latter as parapsychologist June Ross-Mitchell (Laura Gordon). In the center is Louise Belcher as Lilly (Ingrid Torelli), the possessed child who wreaks havoc on the cast and crew of Delroy’s late night show. The art also features a rotating spiral as seen during the film’s trippy hypnosis scenes. Check out the art below:
What A Late Night With The Devil Crossover Would Mean For Bob’s Burgers
The Animated Sitcom Isn’t Afraid Of A Good Parody Episode
Late Night with the DevilandBob’s Burgersare two completely different properties and rights issues, among other concerns, would prevent the two from ever crossing over officially. What’s more,Late Night with the Devil’s endingdoesn’t really leave the door open for any kind of sequel or continuation. That being said,many episodes ofBob’s Burgersdo directly parody well-known movies and TV shows, so this would be one way the two titles could interact on-screen.
Late Night with the Devilis probably too much of a niche horror movie to get theBob’s Burgersparody treatment, however. The film boasts a 97% critics' score and an 81% audience score onRotten Tomatoesand was likely a box office success relative to its very small budget, but it hasn’t penetrated the culture in quite the same way as titles likeThe X-FilesandSex, Lies, and Videotape, both of which the show has parodied before. IfBob’s BurgersparodiedLate Night with the Devil, it may not strike the same chord with viewers.
The animated sitcom returned for season 15 at the end of September.Bob’s Burgersseason 16hasn’t yet been officially confirmed.

Why A Crossover Could Work
Though on-screen interaction between theacclaimedLate Night with the DevilandBob’s Burgersis unlikely, it would still be fun to see. The Shudder horror film features a great premise and a unique visual style, and some of the effects look purposefully cheesy in a ’70s kind of way. What’s more,Late Night with the Devilalso features some dark comedy, meaning it may mesh well withBob’s Burgers. For now, though, crossover art is the closest audiences are likely to come to seeing the two titles unite.
