Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War’s New Powers Explained

What To Expect From Urahara & Yoruichi

As previously mentioned, the staff forBleach: Thousand-Year Blood Warhas just given fans worldwide a first glimpse at Urahara and Yoruichi’s new abilities. For Yoruichi, she uses Shunko: Raijū Senkei: Shunryū Kokubyō Senki, an upgraded form of Shunko that not only makes her even stronger, but also gives her a cat-like appearance and causes her reiatsu to continuously change 48 times per second. The power of Yoruichi’s Shunko: Raijū Senkei: Shunryū Kokubyō Senki was nearly enough to defeat Askin Nakk Le Vaar before he used his Vollsterndich, so there’s no denying that it’s a powerful ability.

As for Urahara,Bleachfans have finally received a first-hand look at his Banki, Kannonbiraki Benihime Aratame. While Urahara’s Shikai, Benihime, was fairly simple with its energy-based attacks,Urahara’s Bankai, Kannonbiraki Benihime Aratame, is a force to be reckoned with thanks to its ability to restructure anything Urahara touches, all while manifesting a giant goddess behind Urahara, as well. Urahara’s Bankai was vital in Askin’s ultimate downfall, and it will be great to watch that play out in animation, as well.

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Needs To Fix Its Most Anticlimactic Fight

Why Bleach Needs To Fix Urahara & Yoruichi’s Big Fight

As great as it is to get a tease of what’s to come for season 4, it’s also a big reminder of what needs to be improved upon. It was right around Urahara and Yoruichi’s fight with Askin that the manga started rushing toward its finale, and because of that, neither of them got to show off much of their new abilities before the fight ended. As such,Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood Warseason 4 needs to change the battle with Askin so Urahara and Yoruichi can properly show off their new abilities, as anything else would do them a disservice.

One of the biggest draws to the new anime has always been how it expands on the manga with original content, and it’s just been reiterated thatBleach: Thousand-Year Blood Warseason 4’s original contentwill be bigger than previous seasons, soeverythingBleach: Thousand-Year Blood Warhas done so far makes it easy to assume that it will expand on Urahara and Yoruichi’s fight to give them their due. All of that would be great to see, and hopefully,Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood Warwon’t disappoint, whenever it ends up returning.
