TheSuits LAepisode 4, “Batman Returns” trailerconfirms Harvey’s first appearance in the spinoff, which mainly tackles what appears to be the first time he and Ted meet. Assuming that the next outing will tell their relationship’s origins story first, it’s safe to say that much of their scenes would be flashbacks. Lukcily, not long after that,Macht takes it to his official Instagram accountand shares the first look at Harvey in the present time. The clip is brief, and it seesHarvey getting a phone call from Ted, with the iconic Seattle skyline in the background.
Surprisingly,Suits LAis shooting on location for Harvey’s modern-day sequences, as Macht’s social media video is actually taken from the viewing deck at Kerry Park. Because his role in the show is to come to Los Angeles and provide help with Ted’s growing personal and professional woes every since Stuart’s betrayal as one ofSuits LA’s major twists, there was an assumption that his real-time scenes would exclusively be in California. Considering his already limited role, it’s great to know that the spinoff will devote time to actually show what his life is like in the Pacific Northwest.

Without the Seattle-based scenes, it is almost impossible to bring back the law genius without him and his relationship with Harvey overshadowing Ted and his own history with New York’s former Best Closer. While seeing Macht as the suave lawyer is a treat to fans, the primary motivation for his cameo is to give his Suits franchise successor a proverbial stamp of approval.
