Street Fighter 6 features a ranking system that’s different from the previous game. Read on for a succinct guide on how leagues and ranks work in Street Fighter 6.
What are all the ranks in Street Fighter 6?
There are a total of eight leagues in Street Fighter 6. These leagues include Rookie, Iron, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, and Master. Each league includes five ranks. For example, if you’re in Diamond, then there’s Diamond 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.
Street Fighter 6 ranking system
To rank up in Street Fighter 6, you must play ranked matches and acquire League Points. According to Capcom, these League Points are separated by each individual character. For example, if you are in the Master league with Chun-Li, then you can be in another league with another character. The video below demonstrates this.
When you first play ranked mode, there are 10 placement matches as well. These determine your starting rank. There exists the Beginner, Novice, Intermediate, or Advanced player pools. Below are the details for each tier.

There are also bonuses for win streaks in some of the leagues in Street Fighter 6. Bonuses apply to the Rookie, Iron, Bronze, Silver, and Gold ones. Meanwhile, Platinum, Diamond, and Master don’t have bonuses for win streaks.
