After much anticipation,9-1-1: Lone Starwill introduce T.K.’s (Ronan Rubinstein) stepfather, Enzo, in its final season.Loststar Henry Ian Cusick will play the long-teased character in9-1-1: Lone Starseason 5. After T.K.’s biological father, Owen (Rob Lowe), became distant due to 9/11, Enzo stepped up as a father figure and had a big hand in raising T.K. through most of his childhood.
The images shared byTV Insideroffer a first look at Cusick’s long-teased character, who’s described as “impossibly handsome, cosmopolitan, cultured, wealthy, and suave.“Enzo will make his debut on the November 11 episode, “Kiddos,“at T.K.’s 30th birthday along with his half-brother Jonah and “much to the consternation of Owen.” The first-look images catch Enzo meeting with T.K.’s husband, Carlos, (Rafael Silva), exchanging a handshake with Owen, and Owen meeting Jonah. Though seemingly polite, the first image still manages to catch some tension between Enzo and Owen. Enzo took Owen’s place after he became unavailable. His arrival will stir up some tension between Owen and T.K., but most importantly,the “game-changing” character is here to push the two in the direction of having difficult conversations that they’ve been avoiding since T.K.’s childhood.In the first-look image where T.K. introduces Carlos to Enzo, all parties seem relaxed and genuine.

A former 9-1-1: Lone Star actress returns in season 5, episode 5, and she could be the one for Rob Lowe’s character, Owen, in the Fox show.
It’s not hard to see that T.K. and Enzo enjoyed a genuine relationship. While Enzo’s arrival is a nice surprise for T.K., the same thing can’t be said for Owen. With the synopsis of the upcoming episode teasing a physical fight between the two, it seems thatEnzo’s appearance will likely be triggering for Owen. Whatever the fight might be, the two will need to patch things up, and at the same time, a conversation will need to happen with T.K. It seems that a lot of healing will happen in9-1-1: Lone StarSeason 5, episode 7.

It’s not hard to understand how Owen would feel in Enzo’s presence. Enzo is the father that he failed to be. It was supposed to be his job, and Enzo’s presence was undoubtedly uncomfortable. Owen will also need to acknowledge the damage he caused T.K. and come to terms with Enzo’s place in T.K.’s development as9-1-1: Lone Starwraps up before season 6.
There are conversations that Owen has been avoiding, andEnzo’s appearance will no doubt tear open some old wound.On the other hand, it’s almost always a good thing to face the past on television. It means that, finally, there’ll be resolution and real healing between Enzo, Owen, and T.K. With9-1-1: Lone Starending, season 5 revolves around family as a theme, and Enzo’s appearance will help emphasize that.
