8Get The First Touch
Make Sure You Get The Quaffle
Getting the Quaffle firstcan set the tone for the rest of the game. This is not the most important thing to help you win the game, but asYouTuber SilentKahnput it, it can help you get ahead fast and stay ahead. To make this happen, you are going to want to aim at the Quaffle as soon as the game starts, and as you are right in front of it,press your tackle button.
Harry Potter Quidditch Champions: How To Unlock Sebastian Sallow
In Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, players can unlock Hogwarts Legacy’s Sebastian Sallow by linking accounts and claiming a pack of free cosmetics.
The reason you want to press the tackle button is because itgives you a small speed boost. This will get you there just that little bit faster, so in a race to the Quaffle, you should win. As you do, be wary of the other team’s ability to tackle as well. You may have toevade quickly to keep the advantageyou have won.

7Use Moves Creatively
Change It Up
WhileDodging, Evading, and Attacking are the main move setfor playing the game, you do not have to use them as intended. As previously stated, you can use the Attack move to give you a slight speed boost when necessary, but you can also use the Dodge button similarly. While you may not want to spam it, as you do need to keep an eye out for Bludgers, youcan use it when there are no Bludgers to knock yourself into another player.
That can get you the Quaffle in the right circumstances, or you may Dodge to the side toput yourself in the path of an opposing Seeker. In general, try to play and use your moves creatively. You will want to bluff and find ways to trick the otherplayers inHarry Potter Quidditch Champions. That willgive you the edgeand help you win all the matches you can.

6Don’t Forget Upgrades
Character & Broom Characterization
Once you have yourfavorite brooms for your positions, you will want to upgrade them to be better off. This can be done by spending Moonstone, which is one of the currencies inHarry Potter Quidditch Champions. Therethree main stats for every broom, and you will want to keep an eye on them to know which one is best for you.
Cosmetics, headgear, brooms, victory celebrations, select bundles

Upgrading brooms
Winged Keys
Collectible Heroes of Hogwarts bundles
Upgrading your broom makes the stats on it better, leading to a higher success rate for you. Likewise, with skill points for your player, you will want to invest in yourspecific role first, then tackling, and then any other skillsyou want.
Notably, there areno microtransactions in this game, so players cannot spend real money to win the game. All types of currency can be foundsimply by playing the game.

Make good use of your upgrades either way, forboth your broom and your character, to ensure you are doing the best you can.
5Dodging Bludgers
Knowing When & Where
YouTuber Benjamin Snowexplains this in detail in his video, but theBeaters can be a key part of winning. This means that knowing how to dodge the Bludgers they send at you just as important. The main tenants of which are toknow where and when to dodge. This includes getting the timing right as well as the direction.
You will get ared meter behind your character when a Bludger is incoming. You will also get a red arrow above your character that shows you which direction the Bludger is coming from. Waiting until the white lines on each side of the red warning come to the center to give you the prompt to dodge. Typically, you want to dodge toward the Bludger, which seems counterintuitive but works most of the time.

If the Bludger is coming from behind you, you willhave to make your best guess to dodge anywhere. If the Bludger is coming from below you, dodge down. This should help you avoid the Bludger most of the time, even if you get hit occasionally.
4Passing
Timing Is Everything
Finding theright timing to pass or hold the ball can be crucialin any game ofHarry Potter Quidditch Champions. Whatever position you are playing, you will likely have possession of the Quaffle at some point.
Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions Review: Finally Delivering The Magical Sports Chaos You’ve Been Waiting For
Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions fills a void left by previous games in the franchise and finally delivers Potter fans a truly magical sports game.
Knowing when to pass to get the best chance to score is important and depends on the opposing team. Regardless, you will likelywant to pass somewhat oftenso that you can get the ball across the field faster.

Try not to focus as much on the Quaffle and more onwhere the opposing team is and is not.
If you play focused more on zones, you will see that youcan make yourself available for passes from your teammatesif you stay open and in places that could be advantageous for a score. Conversely, if you see that the other team is playing heavy defense, you should be a littlemore eager to pass and keep the other team from ganging up on one player.

3Chaser Rules
Zone Play
Oftentimes, it is best tohave your Chasers be a little aggressive. Recently, the Keeper has been nerfed to let more scores take place. This means while the Keeper is harder and realistically will not be able to save as many goals as before, it iseasier for the Chasers to score. Take advantage of that by being as aggressive as possible, and make sure you have theright broom for your position inHarry Potter Quidditch Champions.
Seeker
Cleansweep
Additionally, if you have 2-3 Chasers on the field, you are going to want toplay zone coverage to some extent.Specifically, having one fall back and play more defensively can interrupt the other team’s plans. Especially if the Keeper is not as strong or is absent entirely, having a playerfall back to attempt a tackleis a great idea for keeping the balance as much as possible.
2When To Swap To The Seeker
Not 150 Points
One of the main things about this game is that therules have changed from the book lore. This is especially prominent with the Snitch and Seeker rules. Instead of ending the game right away, the game is timed, andcatching the Snitch is only worth 30 points. This can make it difficult to decide when to and not to swap to the roles.
You may be able tocatch the Snitch twice per roundso keep that in mind as well.
The general rule is that you will likely want toswap to the Seeker as soon as the Snitch is released. However, if you are in the middle of a play or you have the Quaffle, it is recommended you stay in position until you have passed the ball or the play is over.
After that, swap to Seeker and have both the Seeker and Beater go after the other team’s Seeker and the Snitch. Remember that in this version of the game, theSnitch isn’t an automatic game-winner.
1Have A Designated Beater
Disrupting Play
InHarry Potter Quidditch Champions, players canswap between multiple roles. The roles are as follows:
Chaser/Beater
Chaser/Seeker
Playerscannot choose Seeker until the Snitch has been releasedor seen, so that means you will always start with at least one Chaser. Most teams will see two people starting in the Chaser role until the match progresses. However, for success, players will likely want to have a dedicated Beaterthat does not swap roles the entire time.
This can be seen in more detail inYouTuber Podcast Now’s video, where he explains that the Beater role is thebest at disrupting play for the other team. Whether that is in an anti-Beater role where you are stopping their plans from happening, or if it is in a more aggressive role where you are keeping them from scoring. This is a great way to handle roles inHarry Potter Quidditch Champions.
