Chili Left In Season 4 To Attend Rehab

Jessica “Chili” Chilton is a paramedic who has major appearances throughout seasons 3 and 4. She was played by Dora Madisonand was expected to become a major character. Joining Ambulance 61 to replace Peter Mills (Charlie Barnett), Chilli struggles to make friends among her coworkers until she reveals that she is an entrepreneur and has caught the attention of Christopher Herrmann (David Eigenberg), who wants to invest in her business.

However, her character takes a turn for the worse when she becomes more erratic and partakes in inappropriate behavior with Jimmy Borrelli (Steven R. McQueen). Season 4 also reveals that Chili has a problem with drinking, which is starting to affect her personal life.Chilli is fired from Firehouse 51 for drinking on the job, but the team shows their support and gives her the encouragement she needs to go to rehab. Unfortunately, her relationship with them ends there.

Hope Was Fired In Season 6 For Dishonesty

Hope Jacquinot, played by Eloise Mumford, is a significant character throughoutChicago Fireseasons 6 and 8. She was a close friend of Sylvie’s (Kara Kilmer), and while visiting her in Chicago, Hope also began a relationship withKelly Severide (Taylor Kinney). However, the two break up shortly after, as Hope decides to join Firehouse 51 as a receptionist, and she does not want their relationship to interfere with her work.

Hope is eventually fired when suspicions arise due to allegations that she embezzled money from her previous workplace. When Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo) starts to distrust Hope,Hope forges a signature to get Stella transferred away from Firehouse 51. When the team catches on, she is quickly relieved of her position, and Sylvie calls her a bad friend.

Hope returns in season 8 as a minor character when she and Sylvie accidentally bump into each other. Season 6 seemed to have ended their relationship for good, but season 8 showed the two characters making amends and apologizing for the past.

Jack Was Fired In Season 13 For Disobeying

Chicago Fire’s Jack Damonis a firefighter played by Michael Bradway in seasons 12 and 13. He first joins Firehouse 51 as a temporary replacement for Derrick Gibson (Rome Flynn), but he has previous experience from his work on Truck 81. TheChicago Fireseason 12 finale excitingly revealed that Jack is Kelly’s step-brother, which upped the ante for his character.

Jack would rather attempt to impress Kelly than follow a direct order for the safety of himself and others.

Bradway’s time on the show was cut short whenJack was fired inChicago Fireseason 13. The previous season sets up Jack’s perspective of Kelly, seeing him as a role model. When he disrespects Stella by ignoring her command, Chief Pascal (Dermot Mulroney) has no choice but to fire him.

Chad Collins, played by Austin Peck, is a paramedic onChicago Firein the first two episodes of season 8. He is a replacement for Kara Kilmer’s Sylvie Brett after she is injured in a fire and has to be placed on temporary leave. He is assigned to work with Ambulance 61 for the majority of his appearances. However, he ends up only being a minor character in the bigger picture ofChicago Fire.

Chad is fired shortly after he first appears on the show for his inappropriate behavior in the ambulance. While working with Emily Foster (Annie Ilonzeh), he acts childishly and does not have the professional mannerisms required for the position. In such an intense and dangerous work environment, everyone needs to be perfectly competent and serious about their work. As a result,Chad is kicked off the ambulance and has not appeared onChicago Firesince.

Jared Lennox is a paramedic played by Wesam Keesh, who appears sporadically throughoutChicago Fireseason 12. He also joins Firehouse 51 as a replacement for Sylvie, and he is placed there specifically by Danya Robinson (Laura Allen) to report any misdemeanors. While Jared has good intentions, his values of following the rules and ratting out others make him disliked by the other Firehouse 51 members. As a result,Chief Wallace Boden (Eamonn Walker)removes him from the 51 team, but not without warning him about Robinson.

Despite the quick turnover,Jared’s departure turns out to be useful to Boden, as Jared comes back to tell Boden that when the Deputy Commissioner retires, Robinson will be seeking the position.

Emma Was First Fired In Season 10

Emma Jacobs is an aggressive paramedic who appears throughout seasons 10 and 11, played by Caitlin Carver. Emma joins Ambulance 61 as a temporary replacement for Sylvie, and she often looks for ways to blackmail her colleagues to get ahead in her career. She particularly looks for things against Violet Mikami (Hanako Greensmith) as Emma wants her job.Emma’s plans for her career’s advancement are ruined when she gets fired from Firehouse 51, after abruptly leaving her station and partner.

Despite Emma’s departure fromChicago Fire’s Firehouse 51, she returns in season 11 as an IAD investigator. Her storyline centers around the investigation behind a complaint against Sam Carver (Jake Lockett). Meanwhile, Violet accidentally uncovers Emma’s blackmail plan and brings the evidence to Emma’s new boss, who subsequently fires her.

Keith Went Too Far In Season 11

Keith Bamford (Chris McKenna) is a firefighter who appears in two episodes ofChicago Fireseason 11. He joins Firehouse 51 to temporarily fill in Kelly’s spot. At first, Keith appears to be very friendly and playful, as he loves to participate in jokes and pranks. However,Keith’s coworkers at Firehouse 51 quickly grow weary of his antics,resulting in another case of someone being fired because of workplace standards.

Keith is fired after taking one joke too far and ignoring his coworkers' social cues. He had previously been warned by Joe Cruz (Joe Minoso) to lighten up on the jokes as he was starting to irritate many of his coworkers. 3Patrick “Pat” Pridgen

Pat Was Fired In Season 3 After A Dangerous Decision

Patrick “Pat” Pridgen is a temporary replacement for Boden as Firehouse 51’s chief in season 3. Pat had previously run Firehouse 17, which was known as being one of the worst firehouses in the city, as a result of Pat’s command. Expectations are hardly high for him to temporarily take over; he then fails to get along with the regular team ofChicago Firewhen he only continuously insults them.

Pat is then relieved of his command when a colleague shows up support to Kelly, which confirms Pat’s dishonesty.

Pat is dismissed from his role as chief after he redirected Truck 81 away from a fireand then lied about it to save face. Pat tries to blame Matthew Casey (Jesse Spencer), but Kelly refuses to corroborate his story and instead gives his own truthful statement. Pat is then relieved of his command when a colleague shows up support to Kelly, which confirms Pat’s dishonesty.

2Scott Rice

Scott Left In Season 3 Under Unfortunate Circumstances

Scott Rice is a firefighter who appears as a major character in the latter half of season 3. Played by Warren Christie, Scott is also good friends with Kelly.Scott joins Firehouse 51 after a prolonged leave of absence following the death of his wife, which left him to raise their child on his own. The rest of the Firehouse 51 crew is uncomfortable around Scott as there were rumors that he threw a patient out of a window while he was at work.

The crew’s distrust of Scott increases when Scott is seen running away from a fire. Later, Scott claims that his equipment was not working and that he sent it for repair. However, when Kelly checks in at the repair shop, he learns that Scott never brought anything in. Scott later reveals that he was scared to die and leave his child alone, and he is not ready for firefighting. As a result, Kelly is sympathetic towards his situation but still knows Scott has to be fired.

1Spellman

Spellman Left In Season 2 For Spying

While Spellman is a minor character inChicago Fireseason 2, he represents the tense bureaucratic betrayal that is often present in procedurals. Played by John Hoogenakker,Spellman is a firefighter who is brought into Firehouse 51 alongside Jeff Clarke (Jeff Hephner).Unlike many of the characters who were quickly fired, he was not hired as a temporary replacement for another character and was dismissed for more complicated reasons.
