Farming Simulator 25is a game with a plethora of things for players to do, such as focusing on the variety of chores on their own little farm, or taking on some contracts from NPCs in the community for extra money. Some contracts in the game require a lot of time and money put into them by the player’s character to complete, so that should always be paid attention to when claiming. Meanwhile, others may not pay quite as well, but they can be done quickly and easily, making them more worthwhile.

Working on contractscan be an ideal way to make some fast money in the game, but it also helpsbeginners toFarming Simulatorlearnwhat machines and skills are needed for a large variety of jobs. If a player doesn’t have the necessary equipment, or is unsure of what is needed, they can effortlessly lease the machines at the same time as they acquire the contract. These contracts are easily found in the menu, with a tab specifically designated for contracts, and each listing gives information on the payment, machines needed, and location.

Contracts have time limits to completing them, so beware of trying to take on more than is achievable.

10Deadwood Contracts Let Players Cut Down Trees

A Fun Break From The Standard Farming Chores

Deadwood contracts involve the player being assigned to go to an area and cut down dead trees that have been marked with some red paint. While this sounds fairly easy and straightforward, these contracts have a bit of love-it-or-hate-it in the community, particularly with some difficulties in completion. If all goes smoothly, these can be wonderful contracts for having a little fun while earning easy money.

Although some machinery is often recommended for the job, some players have found it is much easier to simply use a chainsawrather than trying to deal with the larger equipment. However, the bigger issue is that many players have struggled to be able to complete the contract due to not being able to find all the marked trees that need to be cut. In many cases, one lone marked red tree may be located far outside the designated area.

Baby animals feast on grass below the farmers on their tractors, with two tractors on their right driving by, with their farmer on the left on another driving by with harvested grass.

9Wood Transport Can Be A Bit Complicated At First

Sounds Simple, But Loading The Logs Takes Finesse

Wood Transport contracts can be tricky, but also generally pay very well. While its namesounds like all someone is doing is driving from point A to point B, there is much more that goes into thesejobs. Using the logging truck, players must drive to a location where a pile of large logs of previously felled trees are located. Next comes loading the logs onto the truck, often involving a complicated claw machine type game, where any damage to the logs will result in reduced payment.

The Farming Simulator Series Surprised Me By Becoming My Personal Therapy Tool

How I went from thinking Farming Simulator looked boring to making it my favorite form of relaxation and peace, particularly in stressful moments.

After that has been done, players drive the filled logging truck to the selling area, which can also be complicated to protect the precious cargo if traffic is on. Finally, there is a confusing question about how to sell the logs, which the game does not make very clear. Generally, players must drive the truck to the marked area within the yellow and black striped paint, get out of the vehicle, and walk up to the exclamation point in order to then unload the logs.

8Harvesting Is Great, In Certain Situations

Pay Strict Attention To Product Being Harvested And Machines Needed

Harvesting can be one of the most fun and rewarding things to do inFarming Simulator 25, but requires some forethought. When accepting a contract for harvesting, particularly if a player wants to use their own equipment, close attention should be paid to what type of crop is being harvested. Different crops require different methods and machines for harvesting, which can become costly or confusing.

Additionally, similar to inpreviousFarming Simulatorgames, it is usuallyeasier to hire an AI worker to assist in these jobs, particularly if it is a large field. Harvesting needs to have someone able to do the actual harvesting while another person manages the trailer to gather the harvested resource and transport it.

7Rock Removal Is Easy And Pretty Fun

Breaking Up Rocks Is Simple, But Doesn’t Pay Much

Rock Removal contracts don’t often pay much, but can be very quick to complete and offer a lot of fun as well. The biggest drawback to these contracts comes from how far away the location may be, as the hydraulic hammer machines do not drive at very fast speeds, and the areas may be located high up tight, twisting hillsides.

There is a big difference in Rock Removal contracts and Stone Picker contracts. One using a jackhammer to break up large rocks and the other collecting stones in a field.

Once in the area with the correct machinery, players need only find the large rocks marked with red flags and break them up with the jackhammer. This goes relatively fast and can be a very enjoyable job to do.

6Bale Wrapping Takes Some Lining Up, But Pays Well

Leasing The Equipment Usually Doesn’t Cost Much

When accepting a contract for a Bale Wrapping job, players should pay close attention to the size and shape of bales that need to be wrappedif they hope to use their own equipment. Small square bales use a completely different wrapping machine than the large round bales, and having to double back to get the right equipment or lease a machine after the job has already been claimed can get frustrating.

Once on the field, all this contract needs is for the player to line up the machine with the bales and drive up until the machine automatically grabs them. This can sometimes be a bit tricky, depending on the placement of the bales, but generally it is a fast way to make some cash.

5Spraying Can Be Straightforward, But Costly

Purchasing The Herbicide Takes A Chunk Out Of The Payment

Spraying contracts canoften go quickly due to the wide range of the sprayer. Its width when unfolded lets even large fields be covered in relatively few passes, and there are often good visual indicators of what has already been sprayed.

Farming Sim 25 Sells 2 Million Copies In One Week, But Fans Aren’t Happy

Falling short of what fans wanted from the series, Farming Simulator 25 has room to grow, but the sales still paint an impressive picture.

The payment on these Spraying contracts may be less than expected, however. Even if players have their own machinery to use, they still must purchase the chemicals for spraying, which comes out of their own budget and is not reflected in the agreed upon contract value. Like many of the contracts, thepayments can also vary greatly based on the size of the field being sprayed, and if someone purchases a large amount of chemicals for a small area, they may find themselves not making much afterward.

4Mow Lawns On A Large Scale

Easy And No Chemicals Required

Mowing a field is perhaps one of the easiest jobs there is inFarming Simulator 25, and with the right equipment, even the largest of fields can be done relatively quickly. No additional chemicals are required here, players simply need to get a mower and drive up and down the field. This is even easier when the player is using the AI Steering Assist option that provides guiding lines for where to drive for the quickest and most effective routes around the field.

These contracts can be one of the best for simply relaxing, putting on some music or a podcast, and enjoying the peaceful side of the game.

3Hoeing Is Similar To Mowing, With A Large Reach

The Right Machinery Makes This Job A Breeze

Like mowing, Hoeing can be a simple contract that does not have any hidden extras from purchasing chemicals. The machines are often quite wide when unfolded, making large fields go swiftly, and the resulting visual representation can be incredibly rewarding, as players can watch the clean results of their work happening right before their eyes. Being able to claim work in large fields that can be completed quickly can give greater payouts, and if a player wants to watch for these often, then they may consider purchasing their own equipment to save on leasing fees.

2Fertilizing Is An Easy And Quick Contract For Fast Money

Fertilizers Cover A Large Area, But The Fertilizer Must Be Purchased

Keeping with therealistic nature ofFarming Simulator 25, fields do better when they are fertilized at just the right time with just the right type of fertilizer. Similar to spraying, players need to take note of the cost of the fertilizer they will need to purchase or supply for the job, as that is not reflected in the quoted payment. Thankfully, any leftover fertilizer can then be kept and used on the player’s farm or future contracts.

Fertilizing can go quickly due to how wide of a reach the fertilizer is sprayedout from the machine. Therefore, though they may not pay quite as much as some other jobs, it is easy to do several of them in the same amount of time it would take to do one Deadwood contract.

1Cultivating Is Perfect For Beginners Needing To Make Some Money

Good Contract Rewards, Easy Work, And Might Not Need To Lease Equipment

There’s a reason that Grandpa Walter teaches players how to cultivate before doing anything else in the opening tutorial of the game, and that is thatcultivating can be a very simple task with clear visual representation of what has been done. If players have the patience, they can even use the small cultivator that Walter provides to start with for any Cultivating contract, although its tiny size may make the job be slow.

By either purchasing or leasing a large cultivator, these jobs are easy, fast, and can provide a very good payment for completion, particularly with larger fields. Therefore, Cultivating contracts are often the best jobs to take on inFarming Simulator 25for some extra spending money to use around the farm.
